Roleplay on ImpulseRP must maintain realism, consistency, and immersion. Actions that break character, exploit mechanics, or prioritize winning over storytelling will be treated as fail roleplay and punished accordingly.
8.01 – BREAKING CHARACTER / “RULESPLAINING”
Tier 3 Violation
Do not interrupt roleplay to accuse others of rule-breaking (e.g., “That’s RDM!”, “I’m calling an admin”). Stay in character at all times — file a report after the scene. If a clip shows you breaking character or “rulesplaining,” you will also face punishment.
8.02 – REALISTIC BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
Tier 2 Violation
All actions must reflect real-life reactions:
If gagged or duct-taped, you cannot speak.
If dead, you cannot communicate.
Characters should respond rationally to danger (e.g., not leaping off bridges with guns pointed at them).
8.03 – BAITING RULE VIOLATIONS
Tier 4 Violation
Provoking or encouraging other players to break rules is prohibited. Example: Instructing someone to cuff an officer in a green zone or exploit mechanics. Both instigators and participants will be punished.
8.04 – FORCE ROLEPLAY (BANKS/ATMs/KEYS)
Tier 4 Violation
You may not force players into unrealistic situations such as:
Dragging someone to a bank or ATM to withdraw cash.
Coercing keys for vehicles or properties without proper escalation.
8.05 – BODY DUMPING
Tier 3 Violation
You cannot relocate dead or downed players away from the scene of their death. This prevents EMS from responding properly and undermines medical roleplay.
8.06 – NUMERIC ADVANTAGE & COMPLIANCE
Tier 3 Violation
If you are outnumbered or otherwise at a clear disadvantage, you must comply with the opposing party. Example: Two armed players confronting one unarmed player requires compliance.
8.07 – COMBAT LOGGING
Tier 5 Violation (30-Day Ban → Escalates to Tier 6)
Logging off or closing your game to avoid arrest, death, interrogation, or staff interaction is strictly prohibited. This includes disconnecting immediately after dying to bypass medical procedures.
8.08 – ROBBERIES & HEIST INTERFERENCE
Tier 3 Violation
You may not interfere with another group’s active robbery or heist. Once a heist is in progress, outside parties must remain uninvolved unless organically included via roleplay.
8.09 – DOUBLE TAPPING
Tier 3 Violation
Double tapping (executing a downed player) is permitted only if properly roleplayed and in compliance with NLR. If the victim has already been robbed, additional executions are not allowed.
8.10 – VEHICLE MODIFICATION ABUSE
Tier 4 Violation
You cannot modify or respray vehicles that you do not own or have not paid for (includes police and civilian vehicles).
8.11 – /CREATESCENE ABUSE
Tier 4 Violation
Scenes created using /createscene must be tied to genuine roleplay. Using it for unrelated messages, trolling, or OOC content is prohibited.
8.12 – /ME ABUSE
Tier 1 → Escalates to Tier 2
Using /me for non-roleplay phrases (e.g., “gang on top,” “Gang K”) is prohibited. Such statements should be voiced in-character, not forced through text commands.
8.13 – IMPERSONATION OF WHITELISTED FACTIONS
Tier 5 Violation
Posing as law enforcement, medical staff, or any whitelisted faction without approval is strictly forbidden.
8.14 – FACTION CORRUPTION
Tier 6 Violation
Abusing whitelisted roles for personal gain (e.g., stealing PD weapons, leaking intel, distributing contraband) will result in severe punishment, up to and including permanent bans.
8.15 – GREEN ZONE LOITERING
Tier 1 Violation
Green Zones are designated safe havens, not social hubs. Excessive loitering or camping these areas without purpose is prohibited.
