infoSECTION 17: THIRD-PARTY ASSETS & EXTERNAL SOFTWARE

ImpulseRP allows certain client-side modifications that enhance visuals or roleplay immersion but strictly prohibits anything that provides an unfair advantage or disrupts gameplay balance. All players are expected to use external tools responsibly and within the bounds of fair play.

17.1 – VISUAL MODS (TEXTURES, SHADERS)

Tier 1 → Escalates to Tier 3 if abused

  • Visual modifications such as basic shaders or texture packs are permitted, provided they do not alter competitive balance.

  • Any modification that removes or disables key environmental elements (water, vegetation, shadows, fog, time cycles) or highlights opponents (tracers, kill effects) is prohibited.

  • If a visual mod gives you a clear advantage over others, it is treated as cheating.

17.2 – SOUNDBOARDS & VOICE CHANGERS

Tier 2 Violation

  • Soundboards and voice changers are allowed within reason for roleplay flavor.

  • Using them to impersonate other players or staff, or to create confusion (e.g., faking distress calls, copying another player’s voice), is strictly prohibited.

17.3 – MACROS & AUTOMATION

Tier 3 Violation (Escalates for repeated abuse)

  • The use of macros, auto-clickers, or automated software to gain advantages (e.g., farming, rapid interactions, bypassing cooldowns) is forbidden.

  • This includes automation during job tasks, robberies, or repetitive mechanics where human input is expected.
