SECTION 13: ROBBERY & INITIATION RULES
Robbery roleplay must prioritize immersion, fairness, and believable storytelling. Initiation must always be clear and justified; robbing players without valid reasoning, or in unrealistic scenarios, breaks roleplay standards and will be punished.
13.1 – ROBBING DOWNED PLAYERS
Tier 4 Violation You may not rob players who are fully incapacitated (lying on their back). Robbing is only allowed:
When the target is still conscious (e.g., lying on their side, injured but not dead).
Or after double-tapping, in which case they are dead and cannot be robbed.
Proper initiation must always occur before a robbery. Rushing in with “hands up, give me your gun” without meaningful interaction is not valid roleplay.
Valid Ways to Initiate (Good Roleplay):
Clear verbal communication establishing intent.
Interactive dialogue where both parties have a chance to respond/escalate.
Situational buildup (e.g., ambush, setup, or intimidation) rather than instant demands.
Valid Reasons to Rob (Good Roleplay):
Someone steals your car or possessions.
You were robbed by this person previously (and weren’t double-tapped, so your character remembers).
You feel directly threatened (“I’m going to kill you next time I see you”).
The target flaunts high-value weapons/items while alone and you have strength in numbers.
Robbing at high-risk areas (e.g., drug spots) as part of territorial disputes.
Invalid Reasons to Rob (Bad Roleplay):
Robbing as a “career hobby” (“I know you have money, I’m robbing you”).
Robbing over petty arguments or insults.
Robbing over accidental events (e.g., minor car crashes).
13.2 – NEW PLAYER PROTECTION
Tier 4 Violation You may not rob new arrivals (players who have just flown into the city).
If you accidentally rob a new player and discover they only have starter items, you must release them and return all items immediately.
Robbing fresh spawns creates a negative first impression and drives players away from the server.
13.3 – ROBBING WHITELISTED FACTIONS (EMS/PD)
Tier 4 Violation Robbing on-duty emergency personnel (EMS or police officers) is prohibited. These roles are essential for maintaining order and supporting city-wide roleplay. Interfering with their duties undermines immersion and disrupts critical gameplay flow.
