infoSECTION 7: EXTERNAL BEHAVIOR CONDUCT

Behavior outside the in-character world (Discord, Twitch, social media, or other platforms) directly impacts the integrity of ImpulseRP. Out-of-city actions that harm the server, exploit systems, or disrupt immersion will be treated with the same severity as in-game violations.

7.01 – ADVERTISING & POACHING

Tier 7 Violation (Permanent Ban, Non-Appealable) Promoting or advertising other roleplay servers, communities, or unrelated groups — either in-game, Discord, or affiliated platforms — is strictly prohibited. This includes:

  • Sending invites or links to competing servers

  • Attempting to recruit players away from ImpulseRP

  • Embedding promotions within roleplay interactions

This behavior constitutes community poaching and results in permanent removal from ImpulseRP and affiliated projects.

7.02 – REAL-WORLD TRADING (RWT)

Tier 7 Violation (Permanent Ban, Non-Appealable) Exchanging in-game assets (money, weapons, vehicles, properties) for real-world currency or items, and vice versa, is forbidden. Examples:

  • Selling in-game cash for PayPal or crypto

  • Trading firearms for gift cards or services

  • Buying businesses or properties for out-of-game payments

This is considered exploitation and fraud — any accounts involved will be permanently banned.

7.03 – RETALIATORY REPORTING

Tier 4 Violation Reporting another player solely to retaliate for previous interactions (IC or OOC) is prohibited. Example:

  • Sitting on old evidence of rule-breaking to weaponize it later.

  • Filing a ticket only after being reported yourself.

All reports must be filed in good faith and without malicious intent.

7.04 – REPORTING WINDOW

Tier 3 Violation Players have 48 hours from the time of an incident to submit a report. Filing beyond this period will be considered revenge reporting and is not permitted. Prompt reporting ensures fairness and accurate staff review.

7.05 – METAGAMING

Tier 4 Violation Using information obtained outside of in-character means (Discord calls, Twitch streams, OOC chats) to gain an advantage in-game is strictly forbidden. Examples:

  • Stream-sniping or using live streams to locate players.

  • Coordinating through private Discord calls instead of in-game radios.

  • Acting on knowledge your character could not reasonably have.

Metagaming breaks immersion and undermines fair roleplay — violations are punished severely.
