Powergaming is the act of forcing outcomes or exploiting mechanics in a way that breaks immersion and prioritizes “winning” over storytelling. This includes unrealistic behavior, abusing loopholes, or ignoring the limitations of your character and the world around you. Powergaming undermines serious roleplay and will be punished accordingly.
10.01 – GENERAL POWERGAMING DEFINITION
Tier 3 Violation
Powergaming refers to any unrealistic or exploitative behavior designed to maximize personal gain or progress. Examples include forcing actions onto others without allowing them to respond, ignoring roleplay consequences, or manipulating game mechanics for unfair advantage.
10.02 – SPEED-BOOSTING / GLITCH ROLLING
Tier 4 Violation
Any form of speed-boosting, glitch rolling, or animation abuse to gain movement advantages is prohibited. This includes spamming movement keys or exploiting physics to outmaneuver players or law enforcement unrealistically.
10.03 – HOSTAGE SCENE ABUSE
Tier 4 Violation
Using hostage roleplay improperly or unrealistically — such as demanding unrelated items (e.g., PD weapons, personal money) or staging hostage situations outside police stations purely to exchange for suspects — is considered powergaming and will not be tolerated.
Tier 5 Violation
Transferring money, weapons, or property between your own characters (“cousins”) is prohibited. Each character must remain completely separate — sharing resources or knowledge breaks immersion and server rules.
10.05 – COMMON POWERGAMING EXAMPLES
Tier 4 Violation
Powergaming behavior includes, but is not limited to:
Running into a safe zone mid-chase to avoid arrest or conflict.
Selling drugs to locals inside vehicles to avoid risk or interaction.
Exploiting locked MLO interiors to hide from police during pursuits.
Staff may determine other actions as powergaming even if not listed here.
10.06 – SHOOTING FROM BULLETPROOF VEHICLES
Tier 3 Violation
Firing from bulletproof vehicles (e.g., armored cars) is prohibited. This creates an unfair combat advantage and is considered powergaming unless specifically permitted in scripted events.
