SECTION 5: STRIKES & DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS
Factions in ImpulseRP are expected to maintain high standards of roleplay and conduct at all times. Achieving official faction status is a privilege — and retaining it requires consistent quality and adherence to server rules. Failure to do so can result in Faction Strikes, which serve as formal warnings and escalate toward removal of faction status.
5.1 – Grounds for Strikes
A faction may receive a strike for, but not limited to, the following violations:
Inauthentic portrayal of the faction’s theme, culture, or roleplay style
Consistently low-quality interactions, as determined by Faction Management or staff review
Repeated rule infractions impacting faction reputation or city-wide roleplay
Toxic behavior or harassment outside of character (OOC)
Failure to value life (NVL) or disregarding realistic fear in high-stakes situations (e.g., small gangs recklessly confronting major cartels without justification)
Faction Management reserves the right to issue strikes for any conduct deemed harmful to the server or community roleplay, even if not explicitly listed above.
5.2 – Strike Transparency
All strikes and disciplinary actions will be announced and documented in the official Factions Discord for transparency.
Leaders are responsible for informing their members and addressing the behavior that led to the strike.
5.3 – Escalation and Disbandment
Upon reaching three strikes, a faction will be disbanded and lose official recognition.
Disbanded factions may not reapply for status without direct approval from Faction Management.
Refusing to comply with disbandment or attempting to operate unofficially will result in further sanctions or bans for leadership and members involved.
